The new pool operations contract with Coastal Luxury Outdoors commenced in January.
As planned, work has begun on several work orders to ensure compliance with Florida
Department of Health requirements and to address operational and maintenance-related issues.
The following is a list of completed items and items in progress:
COMPLETED
- Installed a chlorine feeder for an automatic dosing system; pool operations will no longer
rely on chlorine tablets - Replaced two leaking Triton sand filter caps; confirmed that filter tanks do not require
replacement - Evaluated the filter system and confirmed the sand media in all three tanks is in
satisfactory condition - Repaired seals on the ornamental fountain pump
- Replaced two outdated life rings to ensure compliance with Florida safety requirements
IN PROGRESS - Identified a leak in Heater #1; repair is scheduled this week
- Began the mandatory replacement of cracked water depth tiles; completion is expected
this week - Evaluating alternative methods for managing filter system backwash, rather than
discharging into the swale area - Testing of alternative chemical treatments to address pool staining
With the completion of these work orders, along with others currently in progress, we anticipate
achieving stable and compliant pool operations
