Despite cooler weather conditions, the Restroom Refresh Project began on Monday, January 26, 2026.
This week’s work focused on completing preparatory handyman tasks in advance of the
scheduled countertop and mirror installations in February.
Work completed this week includes:
- Cleaning and blockage removal of floor drains
- Soft power washing of upper restroom walls
- Power washing restroom walls, stall walls and doors
- Wall painting of restrooms (approximately 80% complete)
- Removal of faucets, drains, and electrical components beneath sinks
- Removal of restroom mirrors
- Minor repair of walls behind mirrors
- Painting of walls behind mirrors
- Stripping of restroom entrance doors; painting to follow
Additional work completed outside the restrooms includes: - Scraping, sanding and painting of Southeast pergola (approximately 90% complete)
Countertops, Sinks and Mirrors - The quartz countertops and sinks in the main area of the restrooms are scheduled to be
installed on February 10th - The mirrors in the main area of the restrooms and the handicapped-accessible bathrooms
are scheduled to installed on February 12th - As previously shared, the project is expected to take approximately 5 weeks and is anticipated to
be completed prior to the start of the Concours d’Elegance on March 5th - Progress updates will be provided on a weekly basis.
