Dear Sea Turtle Pool Owner,
Work continued this week on preparatory handyman tasks in advance of the countertop
installation on February 10th and the mirror installation on February 12th
.
Below is this week’s progress report for the Restroom Refresh Project.
Work completed this week includes:
- Painting of restroom doors and interior restroom areas
- Purchase of new weather stripping for restroom doors
- Measurement of entry door stencils and submission to Fast Signs
- Removal of handicapped restroom mirrors; no wall repairs required
- Removal of rust and sanded floor drains
- Identified rusted restroom stall brackets; new brackets to be purchased
Additional work completed outside the restrooms includes: - Painting of southeast pergola
- Began touch up painting of both westside pergolas
- Painting of fascia
- Inspection of roof exhaust fan. Found unusable due to extensive rust and a seized motor.
Evaluating options for fan replacement inside the restrooms
Countertops, Sinks, Faucet and Mirrors - AshIan was onsite to complete templating and measurements in advance of the quartz
countertop installation scheduled for Tuesday, February 10th - Drains were purchased for new undermounted sinks
- New faucet purchased for men’s handicapped restroom
- Confirmed February 12th installation date with mirror vendor
The project remains on schedule and, as previously communicated, is anticipated to be
completed prior to the start of the Concours d’Elegance on March 5th
.
The restroom facilities will be temporarily unavailable for the duration of the project. The pool
will remain open.
